About:
ILR was founded in 2007 in the context of establishing major athletic events in Ioannina with main objectives the development of Mass Popular Sports, the protection of the environment and the promotion of the city. In just a few years "Ioannina Lake Run" has already been established as one of the major sporting events in the region and among the top five running events in Greece, thanks to its organization efficiency, the high level of participants and the exceptional beauty of the route around the Lake Pamvotis. In 2021, we were commissioned to rebrand ILR and direct it into a new era. Our brand strategy focused on delivering a visual identity with high international standards, able to draw the attention of global prestigious brands like Nike, Bwin, Kia Motors, etc to this local yet remarkable event. Furthermore, ILR through this sports branding process became another integral asset that introduced and nurtured the city Ioannina as an international destination.
